BPE Herbal Healer for riders is used to assist in the healing of minor wounds and bruising. It is rich and nourishing and can be used as a hand cream as well as for healing.  It is excellent for those with eczema or other skin irritations and even joint pain of the fingers and wrists.  This ointment smells absolutely amazing.

The Ointment combines the benefits of Arnica, Chamomile and Calendula, with moisture and healing from Coconut Oil, and Beeswax, with added Aloe Vera and Vit E.  This a a very labour intensive and time consuming ointment to make.  Firstly the dried organic herbs are ground and then infused into coconut oil in the sun.  In summer this takes 2-3 weeks, and in winter up to 6 weeks.  Once the oil is rich in colour and scent, its strained to remove the majority of the herb leaving the oil full of healing powers. The oil is then made into ointment over a low heat to ensure the infused oil keeps all the qualities of the herbs.

BPE Herbal Healer for riders comes in a 150ml glass Jar with a wooden lid.

BPE Herbal Healer for riders contains the following active ingredients.

Beeswax - The anti-inflammatory properties of beeswax encourage the healing of wounds. It is also protective, helping form a barrier between the skin and the environment without clogging pores. It is high in vitamin A, which has been found to support cell reconstruction and health.  Beeswax has been found to help soothe and facilitate the healing of abrasions. It prevents harmful bacteria from entering the body through chapped and broken skin and it provides the skin with a layer of protection against external irritants.  It's great for treating scrapes, minor cuts, minor wounds, and burns, among other abrasions.

Coconut Oil - Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is an EXTRA Virgin oil that is not refined, deodorized or bleached, and is Hexane free.  It is an excellent skin moisturizer and softener, and is known as one of nature's best remedies for treating dry skin. It can also reduce inflammation, keeping skin moisturized and helping heal wounds. The medium-chain fatty acids found in coconut oil also possess antimicrobial properties that can help protect the skin from harmful bacteria.

Coconut oil helps bolster your skin's protective barrier layer, trapping moisture inside and keeping skin supple and hydrated. It has anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for wounds and injuries and it also Increases collagen production to assist in healing and the reduction of scars.

Chamomile - is known to possess anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and to quicken wound healing. Research has shown it helps sooth irritated and itching skin and even kill bacteria. The polyphenols and phytochemicals in chamomile help to speed up cell regeneration, and also support the skin's blood flow and circulation, leading to increased healing time.  Chamomile has also been shown to provide pain relief

Calendula - Calendula-infused oil is derived from the calendula flower. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help alleviate skin irritation.  Calendula has a rich history in both Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and some refer to calendula oil as “liquid gold”.

Arnica - is a homeopathic herb that is said to reduce inflammation and swelling, making it an ideal treatment for bruising. It is a popular and versatile equine anti-inflammatory remedy also believed to be anti-bacterial which can aid the healing of bruising, soft tissue injuries, muscular strains and soreness, joint stiffness, lameness pain in the horse.

Aloe Vera - is renowned for its many beneficial properties and has been used for treating skin complaints since ancient times. Aloe Vera is soothing to burns, stings, rashes and other skin irritations. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, Aloe Vera is also noted for its effectiveness in reducing pain and swelling. Its nourishing, anti-fungal and antibacterial properties also make Aloe Vera a great natural treatment for itchy skin and dry hair.

Vitamin E - is not a single vitamin, but rather a group of fat-soluble vitamins with antioxidant effects. It can assist in speeding up healing and improve the cosmetic outcome of wounds and scars. Vitamin E has been shown to have great moisturising properties for the skin that can help reduce itchiness.
