PULtail bags are perfect for those horses who are either experts at getting their tails out the rug tail bags, or those who don't wear rugs and they need a bit more protection then with a standard Lycra tail bag.  Perhaps they are like my palomino, who is a grot that loves mud, swimming in the dam and not keeping his tail white!

The bags keep the tail clean, fade free and knot free, allowing the tail to grow as thick and lush as possible.

The bag section of our tail bags measure approx 70cm and 15cm wide to fit tails of all sizes.  This is suitable for most horses, for smaller horses, you can simply cut down the side seams to shorten the bag, the fabric will not fray.

Our fabrics are sourced from Australian small business's, they are digitally printed small run fabrics that are not available to buy in standard bricks and mortar stores. Often once I'm sold out that's all there will be.  The premium PUL fabric (Polyurethane Laminate) is 100% Polyester, it has a 2 way stretch, and like lycra does not fray on the edges.  The inside of the fabric is laminated which makes the fabric waterproof.  This is similar to how synthetic horse rug fabric is made.  PUL fabric is often used to make modern cloth nappies, or to line lunch bags.   As with the rope we use, this is the best quality option available, not the cheapest.

HOW TO USE

1. Wash and dry your horses tail, remove any knots using a wide tooth comb or brush. I like to work through a little bit of coconut oil as well.

2. Plait the tail from the dock down, making sure that it isn't to firm around the end of the dock as this may cause damage to both the dock and the hair.

3. Slip the plait into the bag, and thread 1 of the ties through the middle of the plait. Tie a firm knot at least a inch (2.5cm) below the end of the dock, wrap both ties around the tail and knot again, this time with a double knot.
