Split reins are very popular for western and stockhorse riders. Each rein is a single piece, without a join, so they hang long over each side of the neck. They come with leather flappers on the ends, and either, clips or loop to attach to the bridle, we have now also added the option of plain ends for slobber straps (Slobber straps can be purchased separately). They are made from 12mm Equine rope, the same as our lead ropes. The rope is super soft, and lovely to hold.
