After so many owners asked for products for themselves as well as their horses I developed 2 products for the riders. Slightly different but similar to those for horses.
Nourish for Riders, is a rich moisturising skin cream, that won't leave the skin feeling greasy, and will offer protection from the elements of being outside all day with the horses. We all know how much we use our hands!! Nourish for riders is also excellent for scars and small wounds anywhere on the body.
BPE Nourish for Riders comes in a 125ml glass jar with wooden lid
- Best applied to clean, dry skin.
- Please ensure you spot test to make sure your not sensitive. If an irritation occurs, please discontinue use immediately.
- For eternal use only, use caution not to get in your eyes.
- Use caution in summer as this product is oil based and may cause sunburn.
- Store out of the sun in a cool dry area, the oils may melt in hot climates.
Please note, that as this ointment contains beeswax and a range of oils, when you first apply it will be a little greasy, within 5 minutes the oils will all soak in and leave you with a layer of protection for your skin from the beeswax without the feel of the oil.
BPE Nourish skin repair ointment contains the following active ingredients;
Argan Butter - made with Argan oil and Shea Butter, is used to improve moisturization and soften rough, dry skin. It reduces inflammation and boasts skin healing. Argan Butter also provides powerful conditioning and restores dry skin. It is rich in Vitamin A and E.
Beeswax - The anti-inflammatory properties of beeswax encourage the healing of wounds. It is also protective, helping form a barrier between the skin and the environment without clogging pores. It is high in vitamin A, which has been found to support cell reconstruction and health. Beeswax has been found to help soothe and facilitate the healing of abrasions. It prevents harmful bacteria from entering the body through chapped and broken skin and it provides the skin with a layer of protection against external irritants. It's great for treating scrapes, minor cuts, minor wounds, and burns, among other abrasions.
Aloe Vera - is renowned for its many beneficial properties and has been used for treating skin complaints since ancient times. Aloe Vera is soothing to burns, stings, rashes and other skin irritations. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, Aloe Vera is also noted for its effectiveness in reducing pain and swelling. Its nourishing, anti-fungal and antibacterial properties also make Aloe Vera a great natural treatment for itchy skin and dry hair.
Lemon Myrtle - boasts potent antibacterial and antifungal properties which can help soothe skin conditions such as mud fever and rain scald. The antimicrobial, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties within Lemon Myrtle Oil work together to help ease muscle pain and inflammation, not to mention it smells amazing and is native to Australia.
Lavender - Really needs no introduction as a well known super oil. Used topically, Lavender Essential Oil has been shown to reduce pain and enhance blood circulation, which in turn promotes healing. It boasts naturally cleansing and detoxifying properties which also make it incredibly beneficial for dry, sensitive and irritated skin, and promotes scar reduction.
Rosehip Oil contains a high percentage of essential fatty acids, omega-3 & 6 and vitamin A, and is well known for its healing & regenerating properties. It has been proven beneficial and extremely effective in the treatment of scars, inflamed skin conditions, dry skin and burns. It is also an effective anti-inflammatory and may assist with reducing itchy, dry and irritated skin conditions.
Vitamin E - is not a single vitamin, but rather a group of fat-soluble vitamins with antioxidant effects. It can assist in speeding up healing and improve the cosmetic outcome of wounds and scars. Vitamin E has been shown to have great moisturising properties for the skin that can help reduce itchiness.
All ingredients are sourced within Australia from Australian owned and operated small business's and where possible organic ingredients are selected. All essential oils are 100% pure, natural and ethically sourced from Australian and foreign origins (where possible Australian products are always used).
The final product is produced and packaged in my own kitchen in Rollands Plains NSW.
